Allmende Kontor is a Urban garden (in Tempelhof, the former airport in Berlin), which supplies the locals with a place to grow plants. With found and reused material the farmers ranging from 16 to 86 of age build amazing structures, integrating tables and sitting area’s in their garden. The only requirement is to elevate their plots by using grow-beds, out of fear that the soil of the airport might be contaminated by its former use. (via Gardening on Tempelhof « Crap = Good→ blog)
